European Guzzlers win the ESSL Italy tournament in Conegliano . In the championship game the Guzzlers faced the Dream Team from Slovenia. For both teams it was a vey close game. In the 5th inning the Guzzlers tied the game 17:17. With a strong defense and hitting the Guzzlers scored 8 runs in the 6th inning and finally won the game 25:17

ESSL Central– Schedule for Conegliano (Italy)

For the first time the ESSL takes place in Italy. From 9th to 10th of June the teams from the ESSL Central will play their first tournament in Conegliano (Italy ). On Saturday evening a homerun derby in the baseball stadium is planned.

In 2018 the ESSL will have two divisions WEST & CENTRAL. Each division will have two tournaments in their region. At the end around 8-10 teams, depending on the playing system, qualify for the ESSL finals in September in Linz, Austria.

ESSL WEST DIVISION

June 2/3 in Brunssum, Netherlands
July 6/7 in Almere, Netherlands

The ESSL tournament in Almere will be played at the Windmill Classic (WMC) tournament (www.windmillclassic.com). Teams can play ESSL and the Windmill Classic competition (men, mixed, etc.). The entry fee of the WMC covers the ESSL tournament, too.

Guzzlers Black ESSL champions 2016

In Italy after winning the final game against the Eagles with 15:4 the Guzzlers Black crowned themselves as the ESSL League champions 2016. This is the second ESSL league title (2014 & 2016) of the Guzzlers organisation. For the newcomer of the league, the Eagles, it was it still a sucessfull year with one tournament win (Germany) and the second place in the league. The biggest surprise of this season were the Dream Team with a solid defense and a very smart hitting. They finished the season on third place.

On August 20th/21h in Opicina (Italy) the Guzzlers Black won the ESSL tournament with 15:4 against the Eagles from Wiesbaden and crowned themselves with the ESSL league title.
