Location
Regensburg, Germany
Since 2006 Regensburg is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located on the Danube River, it is ‘Germany’s best-preserved medieval city’ and the Old Town of Regensburg is an exceptional example of a central-European medieval trading center, which illustrates an interchange of cultural and architectural influences. You can walk through the Old Town with its 13th to 15th century houses or you walk over the old Stone Bridge that was built in 1100s.
Today the most important industries are Siemens and BMW Group.
