SuperCup Teams Competition:

• Bats of the SuperCup teams will be tested at Montjuic (see Tab ‘bat testing information’ below)
• All SuperCup games at Montjuic are scored by official scorer for the season statistics.
• Home team is set in the schedule for the round robin games. For the home team in the double elimination bracket, read ‘Home Team’ (tab) further down.
• The tournament winner is the BarcelonaCup champion and qualifies for Regensburg, provided the team fulfills the requirements.
• The tournament winner will qualify for the Global Games in Barcelona in March 2026 (www.globalsoftball.com)
• The SuperCup teams receive points according to their final ranking in the tournament (see ESSC SuperCup):
  1st: 25,  2nd: 18, 3rd: 15,  4th: 12,  5th: 10,  6th: 8,  7th: 6,  8th: 4,  9th: 2,  10th: 1
• The Astros vs. M&V game (Friday, March 21 at 8 p.m.) will only count for the Astros when it comes to seeding. The statistics of both teams are counted.

EuroCup Teams Competition:

• SLIDING RULE for St. Boi & Viladecans baseball fields: On the bases (1st, 2nd and 3rd) only headfirst slides are allowed. Any other slide at the bases will result in an OUT. At home plate regular slides (feet first) is allowed (no sliding restrictions).
• Home team is set in the schedule for the round robin games. For the home team in the double elimination bracket, read ‘Home Team’ (tab) further down.
• After the round robin games, all 16 teams play the double elimination bracket.
• The winner of the tournament is the St. Boi Champion.
  The first 6 teams (tournament ranking) after the 16 teams double elimination qualify for Regensburg.
  Teams receive points according to their ranking:
  1st: 25,  2nd: 18, 3rd: 15,  4th: 12,  5th: 10,  6th: 8,  7th: 6,  8th: 4,  9th: 2,  10th: 1

SuperCup Women’s Teams Competition:

• Bats of the SuperCup teams will be tested at Montjuic.
• All SuperCup games at Montjuic are scored by official scorer for the season statistics.
• The tournament winner is the BarcelonaCup champion and qualifies for Regensburg.
• The runner-up (second place team) also qualifies for Regensburg.
• The tournament winner will qualify for the Global Games in Barcelona in March 2026 (www.globalsoftball.com)
• Home team is set in the schedule for the round robin games. For the home team in the double elimination bracket, read ‘Home Team’ (tab) further down.
  Exception: In the double-elimination games #6 & #7, the home and away teams are determined by a double coin toss. Ranked #6 is the highest seeded EuroCup team from St. Boi & Viladecans. Ranked #7 is the next highest ranked EuroCup team from St. Boi & Viladecans.
• The SuperCup teams receive points according to their final ranking in the tournament:
  1st: 25,  2nd: 18, 3rd: 15,  4th: 12,  5th: 10,  6th: 8,  7th: 6,  8th: 4,  9th: 2,  10th: 1
• Double elimination is played with 7 teams: 5 SuperCup teams and the two best-ranked teams after the round robin games of St. Boi, Viladecans (ranked #6 and #7).

EuroCup Women’s Teams Competition:

• Home team is set in the schedule for the round robin games. For the home team in the double elimination bracket, read ‘Home Team’ (tab) further down.
  Exception: In the double-elimination games #6 & #7 against the SuperCup teams in Montjuic, the home and away teams are determined by a double coin toss.
• The best-placed teams after the round-robin games of St. Boi and of Viladecans play the double elimination round with the SuperCup teams in Montjuic. Both teams are automatically qualified for Regensburg.
  Both teams have to test their bats latest before their first double elimination game!
  The best-ranked team of the two teams after the tournament is the Montjuic Women’s Cup champion.
• All other teams play a 10-team double elimination.
  The winner of the tournament is the St. Boi Women’s Champion.
  The first 2 teams (tournament ranking) after the double elimination qualify for Regensburg.
  All teams receive points according to their ranking:
  1st: 25,  2nd: 18, 3rd: 15,  4th: 12,  5th: 10,  6th: 8,  7th: 6,  8th: 4,  9th: 2,  10th: 1

Bat testing will start at 10.00am on Friday, 21st of March at Montjuic Stadium (Olympic Park). SuperCup teams (men, women) will be required to have their bats tested prior to their first game of the event.
The EuroCup women’s teams that play at SuperCup double elimination will also be required to test their bats latest before their first double elimination game.
At the bat testing teams can tell if they have any late check ins. No request by email or any other communication, except directly at bat testing, is valid.

Two team representatives will bring all team bats to the testing area. Teams can test a maximum of 25 bats and the first 20 to pass will be stickered for use in this event. If a bat breaks during the event, the team manager can submit a replacement bat to be tested.

Umpires or Directors reserve the right to remove any bat they feel is altered, damaged, or made to enhance ball/bat performance. The bat will be taken for that game and returned upon the end of the game with mutual understanding it will not be used for the remainder of the tournament. If the bat is caught being used a second time, the player using the bat at that time will be ejected from the tournament and will be asked to leave the park/complex. If a player refuses to give up the bat for the rest of the game, he/she will be removed from the tournament and park/complex too.

Upon testing, bats that passed will have a hologram label placed on the bat. Only bats with the hologram labels are allowed to use during the tournament.

Late bat testing: Teams can test a maximum of two (2) bats if the team still has space remaining from their original count. Example, in the team testing a team ends with a total of 19 bats that have passed testing. The team has two (2) late players checking in. Between those 2 players they only have room for 1 more bat that passes.

Round robin:
Home team is set in the schedule for all round robin games.

Double elimination:
– First round double elimination higher seed is home team.
Exception: In the Women’s double-elimination games #6 & #7 against the SuperCup teams in Montjuic, the home and away teams are determined by a double coin toss.
– Winners bracket higher seed
– Losers bracket double coin flip to determine the home team until the championship game.
– Championship Game: The undefeated team has the choice of home or visitor.
– IF-Game is a double coin flip to determine home/away
