When was your team founded? Give us a short history of your team
This year the Dream Team is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The team from Ljubljana, previously named Kanaballs, has always been trained and led by Darja Grimšič. We were the pioneers of Slowpitch in Slovenia and the biggest promoters of developing the game because we believe that through Slowpitch we can motivate more people to play baseball as well as fastpitch, too. That is why we started organizing Slowpitch tournaments – indoor and outdoor – and recruiting new members. Part of our club are also 2 baseball teams: U16 Ljubljana Bombers and U12 Risi. We started with the teams in 2014 and we are trying to get as many games as possible for them.

What do you expect from this season and what are your goals?
In 2015 our team got a few new players. Our goal is to reach a better ranking than in the previous season. For 2015 we are training hard to be the top 4 team in the ESSL.

What do you think of the ESSL and how do yoe see the future?
The ESSL is a top quality Slowpitch league in Europe. Truly one of a kind. The point of this league is to play the highest level of Slowpitch in Europe. This is why we participate in this league. For us it is important that we get the most opportunities for playing high level games.
We play in this league because we miss this level in our own environment in Slovenia.
