For a lot of us Americans we take for granted the game and the accessibility of the proper equipment to enjoy and become great at the game. This is where the idea of Donate a Glove comes in: Due to the unfortunate reality of life there are people that are less fortunate than others that may want to play the game of baseball/softball or even just try it out, but for whatever reason can’t afford it. With Donate a Glove we can make these dreams a reality and provide an opportunity for any individual wanting to pursue the game. A baseball/softball glove makes for an excellent gift and in reality all you need is 2 gloves a ball, and a game of catch can begin and that’s all we are hoping for as we reach out to promote the game.

We ask that you donate any used glove that is in playable shape or a new glove whichever you can let go of to allow someone to enjoy the game we love to play so much. This program is also to reach out directly to the Slovenians that love the game of baseball/softball. The new ESSL team Bad News Bombers will be pairing up with the Ljubljana Bombers (15U) baseball team to assist them with uniforms and equipment for their upcoming 2015 season. The goal here is to pass on the love of the game to generations to come so that the game never dies. We look forward to seeing you on the field.
