With 6 wins and only two losses they put themselves on the top of the league. It was the second time in the history of the ESSL that a non-US team was able to win a tournament. The second one was also won by a Dominican Republic team named Los Coyotes.

This means Europe is still waiting for their first tournament title. Will it be this season?  The chances are very high. The team D.R. already showed that with constant pitching, great defense in the outfield and the ability to hit line drives you can win against every team. Europe definitely has the talent to bring all their strengths together on the field. But what is still missing to win it? In any case the missing consistency playing a whole tournament on a high level and the belief to be able to go the last mile. But this season Europe is working hard to let their stars shine. Who will be the first European team to write history?
