National Leagues (NL)
A new concept with local leagues will start in 2023, with the aim of developing and strengthening the regions in Europe. The concept includes the ESSC National Leagues (NL) and the ESSC Local Leagues (LL).
Players
Players can only play for one team in the local league. However, a player can play in any other local league that is not part of the same national league, as well as in the European league.

The National League consists of at least two Local Leagues in a country or region.
If there is only one Local League (LL), this name is used, e.g. ESSC Local League Regensburg.
Minimum requirements ESSC Local League:
- Min. 4 teams and two tournament dates
- Player registration
- Players statistics (find manual under Downloads)
- League director (in collaboration with the ESSC European League director)
- Head of statistics (in collaboration with the ESSC head of scoring and statistics)
Minmum requirements ESSC National League:
- Two Local Leagues with at least two tournament dates in each local league
- Championship tournament (optional)
- Players statistics (find manual under Downloads)
- Player registration
- League director (in collaboration with the ESSC European league director)
- Head of statistics (in collaboration with the ESSC head of scoring and statistics)
