ESSC Local League System

Players:
Players can only play for one team in one local league and they need to be registered. But they can play for another team in another local league.

Statistics:
Batting and pitching champion can only be players who play both tournaments and have a certain number of plate appearances.
For all other categories not the number of tournaments counts, but only the number of achieved categories (e.g. number of doubles, home runs, etc.).

League system:
The league consists of two tournaments. After each tournament teams receive points based on the final ranking. The team with the most total points of both tournaments is the champion of the league. Teams must participate in both tournaments to win the league.
A team that only plays one tournament is a so-called guest team.

Point system:
Up to the third place, the points are increased by 1, with the last place being awarded one point. The second and first place will be increased by two points each.
For the second tournament the same points of the first tournament will be used, no matter if there are less or more teams.

Qualification for Regensburg 2024:
The champion of the ESSC Local League Spain is directly qualified for the EuroCup in Regensburg 2024, if the team registers. The other teams will be ranked for a possible WildCard, with teams participating in only one tournament being ranked at the end.

360 European Ranking:
Teams participating in the ESSC Local League, the European League and the SuperCup and EuroCup appear in the European ranking of 360 Softball Europe.
