Women’s Supercup 2021

  • Saturday/Sunday, October 2021 in Regensburg, Germany (esslsupercup.com)
  • There is a limited number of spots
  • Teams can register in the following order
    1. Top 6 of the league playing the league championship
    2. Registered and participating league teams based on the final league ranking
    3. None of the above (taking into account regional developments)

Women’s League 2021

  • Teams register for the league and participate in at least one tournament
  • 6 teams qualify for the ESSL Women’s Championships
  • Friday/Saturday, October 2021 in Regensburg, Germany

How to qualifiy for the Championships?

  • 6 teams qualify for the ESSL Women’s Championships in October in Regensburg, Germany
  • To qualify, a team must play at least one tournament
  • The winner of each tournament is directly qualified
  • The #1 to #3 seed after the three tournaments. In case the team already won a tournament the next ranked team is qualified and so on.
    Ranking is based on tournament points

Overview of the women’s league system

  • Championship tournament takes place at the Supercup in Regensburg on Friday/Saturday (during round robin phase)
  • Tournament fee of championship tournament also covers the Supercup fee
  • A team can play one or all league tournaments
  • Player statistics at the championship tournament
  • The ESSL playing rules are based on the current USA Softball Rule Book, current USA Softball Playing Rule www.teamusa.org/usa-softball/media/mobile-apps
    Changes, with ESSL league modifications (will be available soon)
  • Only ASA (USA Softball) certified softballs with .52 COR, 300 MAX. are allowed for the league.
  • The 11-inch size ball is used for female batters
  • Players can only play for one team during the ESSL league tournaments. However, players can switch to other teams for the Supercup.
  • NO stealing
  • Players have to be registered online
