ESSC 2024
In the 2024 season, there will be the new formats ‘Road to Regensburg‘ and ESSC Super Series.
In addition, the concept of local leagues will be expanded and integrated into the qualification concept for Regensburg.
ESSC SuperCup / EuroCup 2024
October 11-13, Regensburg, Germany
As a general rule, if a team has already qualified and is taking part in a tournament or Local League, the next-ranked team can qualify.
360 team registration fee:
Men’s Competition: To take part in competitions to qualify for Regensburg, the registration fee for 360 teams per season is 100 euros. This amount must be paid at least 5 days before the team’s first participation in a competition. In the event of a late deposit, the fee wil be increased.
This does not apply to guest teams that only participate in one tournament or one date in a Local League. As soon as a guest team takes part in at least two tournaments/dates, it must also pay the team registration fee.
Guest teams are teams that cannot qualify.
Last year’s champion is not a guest team. The requirements for qualification is a team registration and participation in at least one tournament.

Women’s Competition: No team registration fee is required for 2024 but teams need to fill out (go to downloads)
Road to Regensburg
Road to Regensburg
There are the options of qualification, local leagues or wild cards for a team to get to Regensburg. The teams decide before the season whether they want to qualify for the SuperCup or the EuroCup. However, the final decision rests with 360 Softball Europe.
Only 360 members can qualify directly through a competition. Guest teams can participate in qualifying tournaments or local leagues, but do not qualify.
The organizer issues a Wild Card. An important criterion is the development of slowpitch in a region or overall.
Regensburg tournament fee:
After qualification, the team must transfer the tournament fee for Regensburg within two weeks in order to be registered. The deadline for the ESSC Super Series is one week after the last tournament.
If the fee is not paid on time, the next ranked team can register.

ESSC Local Leagues
League system:
The league consists of a minimum of two on day tournaments. Tournaments with more than one day or with several game dates can also be organized.
Tournament format:
After each tournament teams receive points based on the final ranking. The team with the most total points of both tournaments is the champion of the league. Teams must participate in both tournaments to win the league.
A team that only plays one tournament is a guest team.
Tournament point system:
Up to the third place, the points are increased by 1, with the last place being awarded one point. The second and first place will be increased by two points each.
For the second tournament the same amount of points of the first tournament will be used, no matter if there are less or more teams. If there are more teams than in the first tournament, the additional teams receive 1 point. Example of a 4 teams tournament:
1st 6 points
2nd 4 points
3rd 2 points
4th 1 point
Players:
Players can only play for one team in one local league and they need to be registered. But they can play for another team in another local league.
Teams:
Teams can play in several Local Leagues. If a team qualifies for a final round via several Local Leagues, the ranking of the Local League in which the team first played will be taken into account. The placings in the other Local Leagues go to the teams ranked next.
Statistics:
Batting and pitching champion can only be players who play both tournaments and have a certain number of plate appearances.
For all other categories not the number of tournaments counts, but only the number of achieved categories (e.g. number of doubles, home runs, etc.).
The tournaments are organized locally by hosts (field, umpires, etc.).
