Since 2014, the ESSL (European Slowpitch Softball League) 
has been dominated by US teams 
. In the league, only Los Coyotes (Dominican Republic) could break the run. Last season, Team Italy Slow 
came very close to becoming the first European team to win the title. In the end, Monstas & Villains were crowned the current ESSL league champion.
The Supercup is a different story. In 2018, the Swiss Toros 
became the first European team to win the title undefeated. In 2019, the title went to Canada with the win by Recrupharm from Quebec 
, Canada.
In 2020, unfortunately, there was no season.
