D.R. win ESSL Czech tournament undefeated

With 6 wins and no losses the Dominican Republic team from Linz (Austria) won the ESSL Czech tournament in Chocen . With the second tournament win (Austria & Czech Republic) they are taking the lead in the ESSL. There is only one tournament left and D.R. has a very good chance to win the ESSL (European Slowpitch Softball League) title for the first time.

In the final game of the tournament D.R.  won it 16 to 6 against the Guzzlers . The defense of D.R. was well prepared against the Guzzlers’ hitters and slowed them down to a team batting average of .387. With a strong offense (team batting average .487) the pitcher of D.R., Inoa Gil Elias, was able to control the game and to pitch for the win.
