Message from the President

After a great tournament in Linz, Austria this year looks to be an exciting one. Our off season preparations have been tremendous both Darja Grimsic and Marc Stein put in tons of personal hours and hard work to ensure great venues and tournament set-ups. Thanks to Mark Robinson and Jose Faulk for stepping in and holding down the sports director position and ensuring the rules and formats are established for all tournaments.

The ESSL is a league that will only get better with more teams and players promoting the league. We all need to share in ant and all improvements that can be made so that we can build the excitement for the coming season as well as seasons to come. We have developed a comprehensive plan to maintain and provide the best sports fields, organizational structure and facilities possible for each and every tournament. From the fields, venues, to the umpires, new marketing and auditing strategies, we want the ESSL to be one of the most enjoyable and competitive leagues to play ball in the European region.

As it looks right now I will be returning to Europe to live and work in Stuttgart. Based on funding and projections I should be back October 1, 2017 and look forward to making moves to expanding the league.

As we continue to make advancements and strive to be the best, you will find the ESSL to be a great league to not only play softball, but also to travel Europe and meet some great people.
