How to qualifiy for the ESSL finals 2018

This year the ESSL took a step further to develop the game of slowpitch in Europe. With more teams competing on the highest level in Europe the ESSL created two divisions WEST and CENTRAL. All teams from each division will play to qualify for the ESSL finals 2018 in Linz, Austria on 15/16 September. From all the teams 8 will make it there.
How to qualify?
8 TEAMSÂ qualify for the ESSL finals in 2018.
The first two teams of each division
They are directly qualified for the first to fourth place ranking for the double elimination of the ESSL finals. The ranking position of the four teams will be determined through the winning percentage of the round robin round at the ESSL finals.
In case one or more teams withdrawal from participation no other team will take its or their ranking position in the division.
All other teams
They are qualified based on an overall ESSL ranking (all divisions together). The ranking is based on the winning percentage.
Until 24th of August (after the last division tournament) the qualified teams need to pay the tournament fee for the ESSL finals. In case a team doesn’t pay the fee the next ranked team will take its spot.
